On October 24, 2022, the Freie Wähler Schönau paid a visit to Frank Bürsten GmbH. The delegation was welcomed by Managing Director Stefan Ganzmann and Commercial Director Katharina Hackner. The visitors were then given insight into the company’s production processes, including how a shoe brush is made from beechwood and horsehair.
Stefan Ganzmann also presented the company’s concept for ecological electricity and heat generation, which has always been a central concern for Frank Bürsten.
To conclude the visit, the Freie Wähler asked the company where political support was most needed. The key issues raised were the expansion of childcare services in Schönau and the creation of housing. As it becomes increasingly difficult to find skilled workers, the company emphasized the importance of making Schönau more attractive for families to move in.
